Adaptive log time axis
This demo adapts issue #1143. It compares compressed time with linear time.
The synthetic data covers 3,650 days (about 10 years) of p50 and p99 latency, with daily and weekly cycles. A latency regression affects the last 90 minutes.
Sample intervals depend on age:
- Older than 90 days: 6 hours
- 7 to 90 days: 1 hour
- 6 hours to 7 days: 5 minutes
- Last 6 hours: 10 seconds

All times use UTC. Zoom is disabled. The demo samples the wall clock on control updates, not continuously.
